When booking accommodation it is vital to remember that Rotota is off-grid. Solar lights are provided in the cooking and ablution facilities and gas for cooking. Be sure to bring a torch for walking tracks at night (or just getting around the grounds). Rain water collection water is marked for drinking. Lake water is used for general purposes. Bring a rubbish bag; you will need to take all of your rubbish away with you.
Our accommodation is clean and functional. There are six separate sets of accommodation, 3 caravans (Caretaker's Corner near the club rooms), 2 cabins (Lake View) and "The bach" at Sally's Alley.
The club caravans have protective awnings to provide shade in the summer and protection from the worst of the winter weather. The club caravans have a shared kitchen with cooking and fridge facilities. The caravans are the closest accommodation to the club rooms.
The bach at Sally's Alley will sleep 4 people and is ideal for families. It is closest to the lake with a short pathway down through bush to get to the water.
The two cabins sleep couples and one has a single bed in addition. The shower and cooking facilities with a fridge are provided at the same site and this is often shared with campers who stay at Lake View.
The tent and motorhome sites are scattered throughout the grounds.
